Ask anyone and they will tell you that Mariann Eitzman has a lot of energy. She thinks its fun to organize people and has the spark for motivating large groups into action for success. Whether it be 504 volunteers running a five-week Christmas lights drive-thru or 8,000 people participating in a multi-campus, church-wide Bible study, she is an equipping leader, knows her gifts and uses them to connect people to each other and to Jesus. She is the Director of Volunteer Administration at Bayside Adventure, one of seven Bayside Church campuses in Northern California. She has won leadership awards for “Passion” and “Equipping Others”. She holds a Journalism degree from the University of Oregon,(Go Ducks!), and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Administration from North Park University. She has been selected as a workshop speaker for the 2018 Points of Light National Conference on Volunteering and Service; she spoke at the 2017 National Summit On Volunteer Engagement Leadership, and is a repeat speaker for the Thrive Leadership and Grow U Conferences. Mariann thanks God daily for her crazy-wonderful life which includes her husband Mike, sons Jonathan & Daniel, two dogs and a garden where you will find her when she needs to recharge her batteries.
